SAIC has won a $240 million contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to provide the Navy’s fleet readiness centers with supply chain management and logistics support.

SAIC has won a contract potentially worth $240 million from the Defense Logistics Agency to provide the Navy’s fleet readiness centers with supply chain management and logistics support.

Fleet readiness centers provide naval aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul capabilities and other services, producing airframes, engines, components and support equipment, helping to meet the Naval Aviation Enterprise’s aircraft goals, SAIC said in a release.

Under the contract, SAIC will work to make more efficient the Navy’s processes related to maintenance, overhaul and repair of weapon systems.
