TRANSCOM awards two contracts for professional services, technical support

The U.S. Transportation Command has awarded Harris IT Services and Agile Defense contracts for professional and technical services support.

The U.S. Transportation Command has awarded two companies contracts for professional and technical services support.

The winners are:

Harris IT Services – $10.2 million

Agile Defense Inc. – $9.9 million

Under Harris’ contract, the company will provide support for C4ISR systems and will also provide exercise and contingency operations support, Web support, test center support, network infrastructure engineering and support, command and control and business systems support, application support, and information protection and event analysis support, the Defense Department said.

Under Agile Defense’s contract, the company will provide help desk and desktop customer support, audio-visual and video teleconference support, hardware management and maintenance, C4 system support, and information assurance, the Defense Department said.

All work will take place at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., and will be completed Sept. 30, 2016.
