InDyne wins $16.7M option to continue support of 30th Space Wing

InDyne Inc. has won a $16.7 million option to provide operations and maintenance services to the Air Force.

In addition to the operations and maintenance, InDyne will provide training, C3I, computer systems services, testing, modification and installment of communications, electronic and security systems, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed at launch facilities, launch control centers and test facilities for the 30^th Space Wing, Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif., which InDyne has been supporting for years.

The 30^th Space Wing is responsible for all Defense Department space and missile launch activities on the West Coast, with all satellites destined for near polar orbit being launched there.

The company won a similar contract in March 2013.
