TASC become NGA’s app store provider

TASC, Inc. of Andover, Mass., received a four-year, $25.1 million contract to be the applications operations service provider for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

At times, NGA must quickly purchase applications from a broad range of commercial vendors to meet its functional needs. To get trustworthy vendors’ apps fast, TASC will identify, pre-screen, negotiate prices, make recommendations, and deliver candidate applications for the NGA GEOINT App store. TASC will deliver mobile, web and desktop GEOINT apps.

NGA announced the award Sept. 22.
