Airtec wins $10.8M million contract to support U.S. Southern Command
Airtec Inc. has won a $10.8 million contract to provide the U.S. Southern Command with intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance services.
Airtec Inc. has won a $10.8 million contract to provide the U.S. Southern Command with intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance services.
The U.S. Southern Command is responsible for providing contingency planning, operations and security cooperation in Central America, South America and the Caribbean, according to the command’s website.
Under the contract, Airtec will provide ISR services in support of two aircraft that the company owns and operates, the Defense Department said in a release.
Work will be performed in Bogota, Columbia, and is expected to be completed by May 2015.
