Telecommunication Support Services to support surveillance system under $9M contract

Telecommunication Support Services has won an $8.9 million contract with the Air Force to provide technical support for the Mobile Air Surveillance System.

Telecommunication Support Services has won an $8.9 million contract with the Air Force to provide technical support for the Mobile Air Surveillance System (MASS).

MASS is part of a mission that includes radar air surveillance, radio and satellite communications for counterdrug operations, host nation air sovereignty, air search and rescue, and other regional operations in the U. S. Southern Command area of responsibility, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work is expected to wrap up Sept. 30, 2015.
