Northrop Grumman taps new director of cybersecurity in United Kingdom

Northrop Grumman has named Nick Hopkinson director of cybersecurity in the United Kingdom.

Northrop Grumman has named Nick Hopkinson director of cybersecurity in the United Kingdom, where he will work to enhance the company’s intelligence-related business and strengthening the European footprint for technologies and capabilities vital to national security.

Hopkinson will be responsible for developing strategies and leading strategic campaigns across Europe that will build on the company’s full-spectrum cyber expertise, including a broad range of offerings for synchronized and integrated kinetic/non-kinetic mission operations, protection, intelligence, and active response across the entire electromagnetic and digital spectrums, Northrop said in a release.

He joins the company from CSC, where he led their security business in Europe. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Cambridge.
