Wyle wins $270M program management contract with NASA

Wyle has won a $270 million contract to provide mission support to NASA at its Ames Research Center in Moffet Field, Calif.

Wyle has won a $270 million contract to provide mission support to NASA at its Ames Research Center in Moffet Field, Calif.

The contract is called the Fully Integrated Lifecycle Mission Support Services, or FILMSS contract.

Under FILMSS, Wyle will provide program management and project management support for bioscience flight development projects on the International Space Station and collaborative science programs, the company said in a release.

To assist in the work, Wyle is leading a team consisting of ASRC Federal Space and Defense, Logyx LLC, The SETI Institute, The Bionetics Corp., University of New Mexico Albuquerque, Miltec Corp., University of Colorado Boulder, AAC Microtec North America LLC, Santa Clara University, Cimarron Software Services and Paragon TEC.

Wyle also is currently competing with Science Applications International Corp. for another NASA contract worth $1.8 billion. The contract has been the subject of dueling bid protests. NASA is re-evaluating bids for a third time.
