Kratos Defense and Security Solutions has won a $34.8 million contract to upgrade the Army’s unmanned drone command, control and communications systems.

Kratos Defense and Security Solutions has won a $34.8 million contract to upgrade the Army’s unmanned drone command, control and communications systems.

Under the contract, Kratos will provide technical and engineering support.

All work will go toward developing technology and system upgrades for the Army’s unmanned ground, sea surface and aerial drones and target vehicles; command, control and communication system electronics; and related ground control stations, the company said in a release.
