Lockheed Martin wins $13.6M contract to support Navy combat center
Lockheed Martin has won a $13.6 million contract to provide support to the Navy’s Center for Surface Combat Systems.
Lockheed Martin has won a $13.6 million contract to provide support to the Navy’s Center for Surface Combat Systems.
The center’s mission is to develop and deliver surface ship combat systems training to achieve surface warfare superiority, according to its website.
Under the contract, Lockheed will provide training material, development and maintenance, instructor services, program management, administration and training systems, the Defense Department said in a release.
The contract also contains foreign military sales to Australia.
Work will be performed in Dahlgren, Va., and Moorestown, N.J., and is expected to be completed by September 2016.
