SAIC wins $115M contract to support Saudi food, energy security

Science Applications International Corp. has won a $115 million contract to provide systems engineering and integration to the Saudi-American Food Security and Renewable Energy Company.

Science Applications International Corp. has won a $115 million contract to provide systems engineering and integration to the Saudi-American Food Security and Renewable Energy Company (SAFECO).

SAFECO is an initiative to enhance food security within Saudi Arabia, and its goals are to provide renewable sources of energy and a decreased reliance on foreign food supply for the country, SAIC said in a release.

Under the contract, SAIC will provide systems engineering and technical assistance, business services, contract services, subject matter expertise support and program management support.
