PAE renovates exec suite, taps new CFO, COO

PAE is renovating its executive suite with the appointment of a new chief financial officer and chief operating officer.

Charles Peiffer will be the new CFO, reporting to CEO John Heller, and will have overall responsibility of the company’s finance and accounting organizations. He joins PAE from IAP Worldwide Services, where he served as senior vice president and CFO. He has also held positions at Fluid Technologies, Avaya Communications, Lucent Technologies, AlliedSignal, Martin Marietta and General Electric.

Karl Williams will serve as COO. He joins PAE from Engility, where he served as vice president and general manager of the company’s Engineering and Program Management group. He has also worked at Harris, Multimax, Vodium, Lockheed Martin, Martin Marietta and General Electric.

Peiffer’s appointment is effective April 14. Williams’ appointment is effective April 21.
