SAIC has won an $836 million task order to provide professional and engineering support services to the Army Aviation & Missile Research Development & Engineering Center Software Engineering Directorate.

SAIC has won an $836 million task order to provide professional and engineering support services to the Army Aviation & Missile Research Development & Engineering Center Software Engineering Directorate.

The task order was awarded under the AMCOM EXPRESS contract vehicle.

Under the order, SAIC will perform lifecycle systems and software engineering to support AMCOM, which sustains aviation and missile systems aviation and missile systems to the joint warfighter, supporting national security and defense strategies, SAIC said in a release.

Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala.
