Abt Associates wins $10M contract to conduct survey on sexual violence

Abt Associates has won a $10 million contract with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to conduct a national and state level survey on the magnitude and characteristics of sexual violence, stalking and intimate partner violence.

The survey will also measure lifetime victimization for these types of violence, Abt said in a release.

Under the contract, Abt and its research arm, Abt SRBI, will conduct the survey of women and men who are 18 years old or older in order to generate national and state-level estimates on the times of violence, who is most likely to experience violence and the patterns, impact and health consequences of such violence, the company said.

Danielle Hunt, Abt Senior Associate, will serve as project director. Dianna Rucinski, Abt ARBI vice president, will serve as survey director.
