SEDNA wins $11.8M Navy contract for high-fidelity simulation

SEDNA Digital Solutions has won an $11.8 million contract modification to provide the Navy with engineering and technical services for a high fidelity simulation and common processing system software development.

SEDNA Digital Solutions has won an $11.8 million modification to a Navy contract for work on a simulation processing system.

The company will provide engineering and technical services for high fidelity simulation/simulation and common processing system software development.

This contract is the result of Small Business Innovation Research topic number N05-059, High Fidelity Front End Simulation for complex Physics Based Processing System, which calls for engineering services and support for the development integration, test, demonstration and certification of a high fidelity sensor simulation processing system, the Defense Department said.

Work will be performed in Manassas, Va., Red Lodge, Mont., Jefferson, Md., and Rogersville, Mo., and is expected to be completed by September 2017.

Funding in the amount of $2.4 million is obligated at the time of the award, and will not expire at the end of fiscal 2014.

The company won a similar contract in April.
