Top Fast 50 firm buys fellow small business
OBXtek Inc., the top company on the 2013 Fast 50, has acquired PSI International’s enterprise systems division in a move that brings OBXtek a coveted spot on the GSA’s Alliant Small Business contract.
OBXtek Inc. has acquired PSI International’s Enterprise Systems Division in a move that lands the company a spot on the Alliant Small Business contract vehicle.
The General Services Administration's Alliant governmentwide contract is a $15 billion vehicle, with more than $3.5 billion in contracts so far to over 40 prime contractors.
PSI is an IT solutions and services provider founded in 1988. The company provides management that has been leveraging management processes to help organizations run since 1988.
“With our vast experience supporting 11 federal agencies on over 40 prime contracts and task orders OBXtek is well positioned to actively participate in new Alliant GWAC task order requests,” said CEO Ed Jesson. “We have been very successful on the GSA’s sister contract, the Veterans Technology Services (VETS) GWAC and look forward to working with GSA and its customers on this new vehicle.”
OBXtek landed the No. 1 spot on Washington Technology’s 2013 Fast 50 List.
This deal also continues the rise in the number of acquisitions that the market has seen in the past week.
