Northrop makes two sector VP hires

Northrop Grumman has hired two new sector VPs for two of its sectors. Cathy Rice will serve as VP of contracts for Aerospace Systems, and Catherine Gridley will serve as VP of business development in Technical Services.

Northrop Grumman has hired two new sector VPs for two of its sectors.

Cathy Rice has been named vice president of contracts, pricing and program business within its Aerospace Systems sector, and Catherine Gridley has been tapped to be sector vice president of business development for its Technical Services sector.

In her new role, Rice will lead her organization in its contracts, pricing and estimating, cost/schedule management and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations/Export and risk management disciplines. She most recently served as director of contracts for the company’s Military Aircraft Systems sector. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Cortland State University of New York.

In her new role, Gridley will be responsible for her sector’s business development and capture activities. She comes to Northrop Grumman from DynCorp International, where she served as vice president of the company’s aviation business. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ithaca College in New York, and an MBA in finance and international business from Binghamton University in New York.
