Northrop Grumman wins $27.5M contract to support Navy systems

Northrop Grumman has won a $27.5 million contract to provide the Navy with engineering and technical services in support of a number of Navy systems.

Northrop Grumman has won a $27.5 million contract to provide the Navy with engineering and technical services in support of a number of Navy systems.

The contract has a base value of $8.9 million.

Under the contract, Northrop Grumman will provide engineering and technical services consisting of parts procurement, repair, field and marine repair services, software and engineering support for the following:

  • AN/WSN-7/7A Ring Laser Gyro Navigation systems
  • AN/WSN-7B Ring Laser Gyrocompass
  • Integrated Bridge System/Voice Management system
  • Navigation and Search Radar Systems

Work will be performed in Charlottesville, Va., Charleston, S.C., and other locations outside of the United States, and is expected to be completed by October 2016 with options.

Funding in the amount of $240,359 is obligated at the time of the award, and will not expire at the end of fiscal 2014.
