Specpro wins $23.4M contract to support DOD joint medical facilities

Specpro Technical Services has won a $23.4 million contract to provide the Navy with a slew of information technology services in support of the Defense Department joint medical facilities in the National Capital Area/National Capital Region.

Specpro Technical Services has won a $23.4 million contract to provide the Navy with a slew of information technology services in support of the Defense Department joint medical facilities in the National Capital Area/National Capital Region.

This contract has a base value of $13 million.

Under the contract, Specpro will provide information systems engineering support, information assurance/system security support, system operation and maintenance, information management support and applications development, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed in Bethesda, Md., and Fort Belvoir, Va., and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2014, with options.

Funding in the amount of the base value of the contract is obligated at the time of the award, and will not expire at the end of fiscal 2014.
