ManTech wins $11.8M option for engineering, technical support

A division of ManTech International has won an $11.8 million option to provide Navy aircraft with engineering and technical support.

ManTech Systems Engineering Corp. has won an $11.8 million option to provide the Navy with engineering and technical support. 

Under the contract, ManTech will provide engineering and technical support for reliability, maintainability, testability, quality assurance and diagnostic and system safety analysis during the design, development, production and in-service life cycles of all naval aircraft platforms and their systems, the Defense Department said.

Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md., China Lake, Calif., and Lakehurst, N.J., and is expected to be completed in October 2014.

No funding is obligated at the time of the award.
