GDIT wins $49M contract for Marine training systems

General Dynamics Information Technology has won a $48.8 million contract to support Marine Corps training systems.

General Dynamics Information Technology has won a $48.8 million contract to modernize the U.S. Marine Corps Range Training Systems.

General Dynamics will produce, test, install and deliver these systems in support of Program Manager Training Systems, Orlando, Fla.

Under the contract, the company will provide a mix of systems and logistics engineering, design, development, systems integration, training and installation of the systems for use at Marine Corps training ranges worldwide, the Defense Department said.

Work will be performed in Fairfax, Va., and is expected to be completed by September 2016.

No funding is obligated at the time of the award.

Four bids were received for this contract.
