Exelis has won a $42 million basic ordering agreement with the Naval Surface Warfare Center which will act as a streamlined contracting vehicle.

Exelis has won a $42 million basic ordering agreement for engineering services for the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Crane, Ind.

Under the contract, Exelis will provide engineering, logistics and field and repair services for Exelis systems that support a wide range of missions in the surface, airborne, sub-surface, ground, space and cyber domains, the company said.

This basic ordering agreement will provide the Navy with a streamlined contracting vehicle for all work performed by Exelis, when in previous years, individual contracts had to be awarded for each job.
