SAIC nabs $1.8B NASA contract to support Johnson Space Center
SAIC has won a contract with NASA to support two of the agency’s directorates.
Science Applications International Corp. has won a 10-year $1.8 billion contract with NASA to provide scientific, health, engineering, operational and technical support services to two of the agency’s directorates.
Under the contract, SAIC will support the Johnson Space Center Human Health and Performance directorate and the Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate Human Research Program.
The company will provide fundamental and applied biomedical and space cell biology research and development; operational space medicine; development and application of space environmental factors, human factors, human system integration and biomedical engineering; and a number of other services.
Work will be performed at the Johnson Space Center in Houston and at the White Sands Test Facility near Las Cruces, N.M.
