Northrop Grumman wins $31M contract to support Advanced Hawkeye program

Northrop Grumman has won a contract with the Navy to provide engineering services for the Advanced Hawkeye Program.

Northrop Grumman has won a $31 million contract modification with the U.S. Navy for non-recurring engineering for the Full Rate production Lot 1 E-2D Advanced Hawkeye Program.

The E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft gives the warfighter expanded battlespace awareness, especially in the area of information operations. It delivers battle management, theater air and missile defense, and multiple sensor fusion capabilities in an airborne system, Northrop Grumman said.

Work will be performed in Syracuse, N.Y., St. Augustine, Fla., Bethpage, N.Y., Greenlawn, N.Y., Woodland Hills, Calif., El Segundo, Calif., Menlo Park, Calif., and other locations within the United States.

Work is expected to be completed by September 2016.

Funding in the full amount of the contract is obligated at the time of the award.
