R3 Strategic Support nabs $55M bomb disposal contract

R3 Strategic Support Group has won a five-year, $55 million contract to provide bomb disposal support services to the U.S. Air Force.

R3 will support the Air Force in all of its specialized mission areas.

These areas include aerospace vehicle launch and recovery; force protection; weapons of mass destruction; nuclear weapon incidents/accidents; unexploded explosive ordnance recovery options.

The company will also provide explosive ordnance disposal support services to the Air Force’s operational range clearances/demolition requests; federal agency and civil authority support; and training to base populace areas.
