Lockheed subsidiary taps new CEO
Sim-Industries, which was acquired by Lockheed Martin in 2011, has appointed Jeffrey Wood to be its new CEO.
Sim-Industries has tapped Jeffrey Wood to be its new CEO, succeeding Frank Uit den Bogaard, who founded the company back in 2004.
The company develops and manufactures civil aviation flight simulators. It was acquired by Lockheed Martin in 2011.
Wood joins the company from StandardAero's Airlines and Fleets business, where he served as senior vice president. He also served as president and CEO of Airfoil Technologies International, Lockheed Martin said in a release.
Uit den Bogaard will remain with the company, leading customer engagement and business development in the global simulator market, the company said.
