SAIC nabs $202M NASA contract for safety, mission assurance
SAIC has won a $202 million contract with NASA to provide safety and mission assurance engineering support services at the Johnson Space Center and White Sands Test Facility.
Science Applications International Corp. has won a $202 million contract with NASA to provide safety and mission assurance engineering support services to the agency’s facilities.
The contract has a three-year base and two option years.
Under the contract, SAIC will provide safety and mission assurance engineering support services to NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas and White Sands Test Facility near Las Cruces, N.M.
At the Johnson Space Center, SAIC will support the safety and mission assurance directorate in providing programmatic support to the International Space Station, Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, Extravehicular Activity Office, Advanced Exploration Systems Office, and any future programs, SAIC said in a release.
At the White Sands Test Facility, the company will provide safety, reliability, maintainability, quality and risk management services.
