Lockheed wins $28M contract to sustain C-5 software
Lockheed Martin has won a contract with the Air Force to sustain C-5 software and provide engineering support for the large cargo aircraft.
Lockheed Martin has won a $27.9 million task order contract with the U.S. Air Force to sustain both C-5 software and the software integration laboratory, and provide engineering support and an emergency operational flight plan.

The contract has provisions for cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price and cost-reimbursement.
Work will be performed in Marietta, Ga., and is expected to be completed by June 20, 2016.
Funding in the amount of $21 million is obligated at the time of the award.
