Cubic wins $6.6M Air Force contract for research on technology integration

Cubic Applications has won a contract with the Air Force to conduct research for technology integration.

Cubic Applications Inc. has won a $6.6 million contract with the U.S. Air Force to conduct research for technology integration under the U.S. Pacific Command’s Joint innovation and experimentation initiatives.

Cubic Applications is a subsidiary of Cubic Corp.

The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract also calls on Cubic to develop and evaluate various operational aspects, including tactics, techniques and procedures, as well as participate in joint tests and evaluations, the Defense Department said.

Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif.,  and at USPACOM headquarters at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by June 16, 2015.

Funding in the amount of $523,000 is obligated at the time of the award.
