L-3 wins $10.2M options toward undersea training range
L-3 Communications has won options with the U.S. Navy toward the giant undersea warfare training range off the coast of Jacksonville, Fla.
L-3 Communications MariPro has won two options worth $10.2 million to provide the U.S. Navy with design and installation services in support of an undersea warfare training range.
L-3 Communications first won this contract back in September. The range covers an area bigger than the city of Los Angeles.
Work will be performed in Goleta, Calif., Newington, N.H., and Mayport, Fla., and is expected to be completed by May 2019.
Funding in the full amount of the options is obligated at the time of the award, and will not expire at the end of fiscal 2013.
