Aeroflex Wichita wins $15M contract for radio maintenance system

Aeroflex Wichita has won a contract to provide the Navy with ground radio maintenance automatic test systems.

Aeroflex Wichita Inc. has won a $15.2 million contract modification to provide the U.S. Marine Corps with ground radio maintenance automatic test systems.

The company designs advanced test solutions for communications, avionics and general test and measurement applications.

Under the modification, Aeroflex will support and sustain up to 300 systems for the product manager, test measurement and diagnostic equipment, program manager combat support systems, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed in Wichita, Kan., and is expected to be completed by August 25, 2014.

No funding is obligated at the time of the award.
