SRA nabs $18M CDC contact for IT services

SRA International has won a $18 million contract with the CDC to provide IT-related support services for its Laboratory Information Management System, which supports infectious disease testing.

SRA International has won a three-year, $18 million contract to provide IT support services to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Office of Infectious Diseases.

Under the contract, SRA will support the management and integration of the office’s Laboratory Information Management System, the company said in a release.

Work under the contract will cover all phases of the system's software development lifecycle, SRA said.

The Laboratory Information Management System is a configurable system for tracking clinical specimens, ordering tests, and reviewing and releasing results.
