Boeing unit nabs $46M option for Navy intell work

Argon ST has won a $46 million option under the Navy's SSEE Increment F contract for situational awareness systems delivery.

Argon ST, a Boeing Co. subsidiary, has won a $46 million situational awareness option under the Navy’s Ship’s Signal Exploitation Equipment Increment F contract.

The Increment F contract facilitates increased data collection and better identification of any potential threats. It improves on its predecessor contract, Increment E, which had antenna, signal acquisition and direction finding, Boeing said in a release.

Under the option, Argon will work on seven more systems over the span of 18 months, adding to the more than 80 systems it has delivered since 2000, the company said.

“The Increment F system is designed with open-system architecture, enabling technical modernization and integration of software services that are essential to warfighting readiness,” said Boeing’s Dan Marini, program manager for the Ship’s Signal Exploitation Equipment contract.

Work will take place in Newington, Va., at Argon facilities, the company said.
