Altamont Capital Partners has acquired Omniplex World Services Corp. in a move that brings the private equity firm a growth platform in the federal market.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The move will also bring significant operational and financial resources to Omniplex that will help it to better serve its customers, said Omniplex co-founder and CEO, Terri Wesselman.

“Omniplex is one of the strongest companies we’ve seen within the government services sector. The mission critical nature of their services combined with their consistent track record has meant that, even in this period of fiscal conservatism, Omniplex is facing growth opportunities,”said Randall Eason, Altamont managing director.

Casey Lynch, also a managing director of Altamont, said that the private equity firm focuses on “investing in compaies with a  strong and loyal customer base, and OMNIPLEX has a stellartrack record in this area.”

Julien Patterson, founder and chairman of Omniplex, felt satisfied that Altamont “showed an understanding of our unique business and unwavering commitment to maintaining our reputation for the highest quality service.”

This is Altamont Capital Partners’ second acquisition in the span of a month; near the end of December, the company acquired Cascade Windows, a leading Western U.S window manufacturer.

Bluestone Capital Partners served as financial advisor to Omniplex on the transaction.
