SAIC scores 3 contracts worth over $260M
SAIC will provide services to the Army Corps of Engineers, the Army Geospatial Center and the Space and Naval Warfare Center under three contract awards.
Science Applications International Corp. has won three contracts totaling over $260 million to provide services to the Army Corps of Engineers, the Army Geospatial Center and the U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Center.
Under the Geospatial Center’s $200 million task-order contract, SAIC will provide geospatial research, intelligence and support related to Geospatial Enterprise Services, such as systems engineering and software development processes; development, integration and operation of various intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance payload systems; and acquisition, fusion and dissemination of geospatial information.
Under a separate contract worth $40 million, according to a Defense Department announcement, SAIC will provide research, development, integration and testing under the Geospatial Research, Integration, Development and Support II contract. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and will is to be performed in McLean and Alexandria, Va.
Under the Space and Naval Warfare Systems’ $21 million task order contract, SAIC will provide life-cycle command, control, communications and intelligence services in support of the Network Integration Engineering Facility. Services include packaging, integration, environmental qualification design and testing and electronic and computer systems.
The contract has a one-year base period and two one-year options; if these option are exercised, the contract will be valued at $61 million, bringing the value of SAIC's three contract wins to over $300 million.
