10 named to $775M Marines hardware award

The multiple award contract provides a mechanism for a wide array of computer equipment for the Corps.

Ten companies have won places on the five-year Marine Corps Common Hardware Suite contract and will vie for delivery orders that have a ceiling value of $775 million, according to a Navy Department announcement.

The Marine Corps Common Hardware Suite provides a mechanism for the purchase of a wide array of equipment, including multi-purpose, ruggedized and semi-ruggedized laptops, tablets, notebooks, workstations and rack mounted servers.

The contract vehicle also provides specific contract line items that may serve the Navy Next-Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) hardware needs once that contract is awarded.

  • GTSI Corp.
  • Intelligent Decisions
  • Integration Technologies Group
  • Iron Bow Technologies
  • NCS Technologies
  • World Wide Technology Inc.

CDW Government, of Vernon Hills, N.Y., ranks No. 44 on Washington Technology’s 2012 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors. Dell Inc. ranks No. 19, GTSI ranks No. 73, Iron Bow Technologies ranks No. 34, and World Wide Technology ranks No. 50.
