Lockheed gains $420M award for DOD civilian workforce support
Contract extends Lockheed’s maintenance, operations, hosting and development services for the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System.
Lockheed Martin will continue supporting the Defense Department’s civilian workforce data system under a DOD contract that includes an 18-month base and five one-year options for a ceiling value of $420 million.
Under the competitive sole source indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract, Lockheed Martin will provide sustainment, maintenance, operations, hosting and development services for the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System’s Human Resources operation, which supports more than 800,000 DOD civilians, according to Lockheed's April 30 announcement.
The Lockheed Martin team is composed of about 120 employees including those from Kforce Government Solutions Inc., STG Inc., Diversified Technical Services Inc., Diligent Consulting Inc. and Object CTalk Inc.
The work will take place in San Antonio and at Lockheed Martin’s Denver Data Center and three unnamed military sites.
Lockheed Martin, of Bethesda, Md., ranks No. 1 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
