Link Solutions captures $50M Aberdeen contract

Small business wins $50 million contract for IT support work at Aberdeen Proving Grounds.

Link Solutions Inc. has won a $50 million, five-year contract with the Army to provide IT support to at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland.

The users of the contract include the Army, the Army Materiel Command, the Research, Development and Engineering Command, the U.S. Public Health Command and the Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense.

Link Solution will provide cradle-to-grave IT support. The company has put together a team that will provide services such as enterprise network operations, network defense and service desk operations. Link Solutions will provide customer support, software engineering, web development, network operations, information assurance, IT logistics, training and administrative services.

The contract builds on the two years of work the company has done with the Public Health Command, said Link Solutions President and CEO Bhupesh Wadhawan.

“We have proven that we understand how to perform in Medical Command’s mission-critical environment, understand the needs of our customers, and understand how to quickly respond to get the desired results in the most cost-efficient manner,” he said in a statement.
