Boeing boosts intell systems chief to VP/GM of info solutions

Former vice president of Boeing’s Intelligence Systems Group Dewey Houck has been named vice president and general manager of Information Solutions, responsible for cybersecurity, physical security and information services programs.

Boeing Co. has named Dewey Houck vice president and general manager of the company's Information Solutions organization. He will report to Roger Krone, president of the Network & Space Systems division of Boeing Defense, Space & Security.

Houck, formerly was vice president of the Intelligence Systems Group in Information Solutions, will be responsible for directing BDS' cybersecurity, physical security and information services programs, with the goal of increasing productivity and mission success for government and commercial customers.

Houck joined Boeing in 2000 when the company acquired Autometric Inc., where he was vice president of technology development.

He is a Boeing Senior Technical Fellow and holds Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in civil engineering, with specialization in photogrammetry and geodesy, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
