CACI wins $350M in hush-hush intell contracts
In the first quarter of CACI's fiscal year 2012, the company said it had garnered $350 million in contracts from the intelligence community, but didn’t divulge many details.
CACI International Inc. won approximately $350 million in previously unannounced contracts from the intelligence community, the company said today without offering many details of the classified work.
The contracts, awarded in the first quarter of CACI's fiscal year 2012 that ended Sept. 30, include $245 million in new business and more than $100 million in re-competed awards.
CACI is providing a range of high-value services and solutions in fundamental intelligence tasks such as collection, analysis, training, analytic tool development, and knowledge management, the Oct. 31 announcement said.
These contracts also take advantage of CACI's product offerings in the geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) and signals intelligence (SIGINT) areas, it added.
Intelligence is an integral part of CACI’s growth strategy and represents a large portion of the company’s business, said Bill Fairl, CACI president of U.S. Operations, in the announcement.
CACI International, of Arlington, Va., ranks No. 14 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
