FBI reportedly arrests 37 in Boeing-based drug ring

The FBI busts a drug ring at a Boeing facility near Philadelphia.

A drug bust at a Pennsylvania-based Boeing plant that makes aircraft used in Afghanistan has resulted in 37 arrests, reports BBC news.

The FBI raided the facility after managers were warned by current employees of an apparent drug ring that allegedly dealt in the buying and selling of prescription drugs, the article said.

In a statement, Boeing praised authorities for “a rigorous and thorough investigation” and insisted that the quality of the [aircraft] production line was never compromised.
