CGI unit captures $26M visa processing order

CGI's Stanley Associates unit will provide processing support for visa applications in Russia and other countries in the region.

CGI Federal has won a $26 million, firm-fixed-price task order to support the State Department’s Bureau of Consular Affairs.

The task order has a one-year base with four one-year options. It was won by CGI’s Stanley Associates subsidiary.

The company will provide visa services and will support the processing of non-immigrant and immigrant visa applications. Services include information services, fee collection, appointment services and document delivery at U.S. embassies and consulates in Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia, the company said in a statement.

“We are pleased to extend our support for the Bureau of Consular Affairs to a new region,” said George Schindler, president of CGI Federal.

CGI and its Stanley subsidiary support visa operations in 60 countries.

The task order was awarded under the Global Support Strategy contract.
