Raytheon names VP to lead operations at Fort Meade

Raytheon has named Kevin F. Brown vice president of Raytheon's operations at Fort Meade, Md., and deputy of its Information Security Solutions product line.

Raytheon has named Kevin Brown vice president of its operations at Fort Meade, Md., and deputy of its Information Security Solutions product line.

Brown will lead business development and site operations at the company's Fort Meade offices, which support the government in critical areas such as information operations and information assurance as well as signals intelligence, according to a Raytheon statement dated Aug. 3.

Brown comes to Raytheon after more than a decade at Science Applications International Corp., where he most recently served as senior vice president in charge of Cybersecurity Services and Solutions Operations.

Before SAIC, Brown was an associate professor at The George Washington University where he taught a system development curriculum in Management Information Systems for the Master of Science program.

His career includes service as a Navy officer with assignments at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command's Information Systems Security Office, the National Security Agency and the United States Naval Academy.

Brown holds a master's degree in management information systems from GWU and a bachelor's degree in history from the Naval Academy.
