Cisco's cloud director leaves for rival Juniper

A top cloud man at Cisco Systems has left his post and nabbed a job at competitor Juniper Networks because of its people and innovative technology, CRN reports.

Christofer Hoff, former director of cloud and virtualization solutions in the Security Technology Business Unit, joined Cisco in 2009. He will begin his undisclosed role at network innovation provider Juniper on July 5.

His move is the latest in a trend of Juniper snagging Cisco talent, CRN reports.
