Ginman officially named director of defense procurement policy

Richard Ginman takes place of Shay Assad in defense procurement policy, as Assad moves to pricing policies.

Richard Ginman has been assigned to be director of defense procurement and acquisition policy in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, the Defense Department announced on June 14.

Previously, Ginman was the deputy director of program acquisition and contingency contracting in that office.

The director position opened because Shay Assad became the new director of defense pricing in the under secretary's office in May.
