Indus bolsters BD, fraud offerings

Indus Corp. has hired several people to lead business development and fraud detection and cyber efforts.

Indus Corp., of Vienna, Va., has announced several hires to bolster business development operations and expand its fraud detection and cybersecurity offerings.

Terry Fitzpatrick was named senior vice president of business development and growth. He joined Indus in late 2010 from Science Applications International Corp. At Indus, he will be responsible for business development, account management, and branding.

Mark Tanner was appointed vice president of the digital forensics and financial fraud detection practice. The practice is focused on the business process and data challenges around sharing information among law enforcement, public safety and the intelligence community. Tanner had a 22-year career at the FBI and was the director of the FBI’s Foreign Terrorist Tracking Task Force. He also was the FBI’s deputy CIO.

Nino Milanese was named senior fraud detection consultant. He spent 21 years at the Social Security Administration and served as director of the Center for Security and Integrity.

Donald Donovan was hired as senior homeland security adviser. He will guide Indus’ business strategy and solution identification efforts for the Homeland Security Department. He was a senior executive at the U.S. Marshals Service.
