Former Stanley CEO joins Pragmatics board

With the addition of former Stanley chairman, president and CEO Philip Nolan to its advisory board, Pragmatics has begun laying the foundation for an eventual initial public offering.

Philip Nolan, former chairman, president and CEO of Stanley Inc., has joined the newly formed Pragmatics Advisory Board.

Nolan oversaw Stanley’s growth from a 20 person firm to a company with 5,000 employees and $1 billion in revenue. Stanley was acquired by CGI Group in 2010.

One of the reasons Pragmatics brought Nolan on as an adviser is that the company is planning an initial public offering of stock. Nolan led Stanley through its own IPO.

“Phil’s expertise and proven ability to achieve that goal will be an invaluable asset,” said Pragmatics CEO Long Nguyen.
