Skip Trahern is taking the reins as president of FedStore Corp., the IT solutions provider announced today.

A 27-year industry veteran, Trahern will lead the service-disabled veteran-owned small business during a period of unprecedented growth and assemble a team of industry experts to take FedStore to the next level, the company said.

Prior to Cisco, he spent 24 years at Hewlett-Packard Co., culminating as vice president and founder of the public sector and education business unit for HP’s imaging and printing organization, which he expanded from 12 employees to more than 150 and drove revenues in excess of $2.5 billion.

Trahern holds a B.A. degree in marketing and finance from the University of Maryland and has participated in advanced executive education studies at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
