Stanley tasked with visa assistance for Africa
Stanley Inc. has won a five-year, firm-fixed-price task order worth $9.48 million to provide the State Department’s Bureau of Consular Affairs with business process services in a number of African nations.
Stanley Inc. has won a five-year, firm-fixed-price task order worth $9.48 million to provide the State Department with business process services in Africa.
The wholly owned subsidiary of CGI Federal Inc. will assist State’s Bureau of Consular Affairs in processing non-immigrant and immigrant visa applications, including information services, fee collection, appointment services and document delivery, at U.S. embassies and consulates in Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, The Gambia, and Liberia.
This is Stanley’s second task order under the 10-year multiple award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity Global Support Strategy (GSS) visa services contract, which has a $2.8 billion ceiling, according to a company statement today.
“Our team will be leveraging our global visa experience across 56 countries as well as deep understanding of the West Africa region to provide an integrated, flexible, applicant-centric, and secure solution,” CGI Senior Vice President Paul Belanger said.
The company will provide support services to more than 111,000 visa applicants annually in West Africa, which builds on the company's other recent GSS win for providing visa services for more than 320,000 visas annually in the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore, he added.
