ESN lands IT contract at Utah Air Force base

Engineering Services Network Inc. will provide IT services to the Air Force under a five-year contract that could be worth as much as $38 million.

The service-disabled veteran-owned engineering and technology services company will provide network, desktop and server support throughout Hill Air Force Base in northern Utah, an Air Force Materiel Command facility.

Under the contract, which takes effect Jan. 1, ESN will provide both unclassified and secret IP router services, including help desks, system administration, information assurance and protection, desktop engineering, asset management, network, messaging and directory services and server support.

In addition, ESN, of Arlington, Va., will provide automated data processing equipment for classified and unclassified hard-drive preparation and destruction.

ESN reported nearly $26 million in federal contract awards in 2009.

Company clients include the Defense, Veterans Affairs, Health and Human Services, and Homeland Security departments.
